International Mankini Challenge

About

In December 2008 Malph left the UK to travel South and Central America. On leaving, his friends set him a challenge: to wear a Mankini (made famous in the Borat movie) in each country and take a picture to prove it.

Such has been the popularity of the International Mankini Challenge amongst old friends and those he’s met on his travels, he has decided to open the Challenge to all.

Malph will continue on his own personal crusade, but hopes others can help cover the remaining countries of the world. So, get yourself a Manikini from the link on our homepage, check the maps page for countries not yet Mankinied and get out there and do it!

Sorry, we hate rules, but to add legitimacy to the Challenge, we ask that you abide by the following:

  • Take pictures in locations that are synonymous, or easily identifiable, with the country they represent e.g. Big Ben for England (these make the best pictures anyway)
  • If your pictures aren’t in iconic locations, have three other people confirm that the picture was taken in the location you claim by e-mailing the address below
  • The picture must be of you, or you must have permission to use the pictures
  • No pictures of under 18s please
  • Pictures need to be accompanied with details of who is in the Mankini(s) and where (location and country) the shot was taken, and on what date

Send us your Mankini pics at

Enjoy the challenge!
